Media regulations: 1.) Why is regulation of the media important? Give examples of what might happen without regulations. - Regulation in the media is very important as it controls what the press are allowed to say about its subject. Without regulations the media would be allowed to comment about any situation or event freely. This therefore would cause tension and unrest around the public as the media may have a biased opinion. An example of this is if a online website contained sensitive information/ content. This would cause multiple issues as online the public can access a wide range of sources and if they went on the wrong website they could be open to viewing sensitive content. 2.)
