What is copyright? - The exclusive and assignable legal right, give to the originator for a fixed number of years, to print, publish, perform, film. or record literary, artistic, or musical material. - This means if someone else for example would like to use someone else's music over their film they would have to buy the rights to use it. 2.) What ethical considerations are there for media production? - The ethical considerations for media productions surround what is acceptable to be shown or reported on in a magazine. For example in criminal cases if it involves children there name should not be displayed in the article for safety reasons. Trade Unions: 1.) What is a Trade Union? - An organised association of workers in a trade, group of trades, or profession, formed to protect and further their rights and interests. 2.) Why do people join Trade Unions? - One of the biggest reasons people join Trade Unions is to ensure fair treatment in the workplace. For example most teachers are apart of a trade union. So if the government tried to make a change in education a large group of teachers could make a difference yet if it was just 1 teacher they would not be able to change anything by themself. 3.)
