1.) Explain its position in the media world. Explore the key divisions of media.
- The media product Women's Health is part of the publishing section. It is an E- magazine and a magazine and is purposely aimed at women. The genre of the magazine is fitness but also as sub genres includes articles on lifestyle and gossip.

2.) Research and explore the production company. How big is the company? What is its scope and operations? Is it part of a conglomerate? What sectors does it operate in?
- The publishing company is Hearst.
- They sell over four million magazines  monthly and have 17 million UK digital unique users. Across their social media pages they reach 22 million followers and use platforms such as snapchat discovery in order to engage with their audience.
- As well as 'Women's Health' they also produce 21 other magazines including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar and Good Housekeeping.
- Hearst is also part of a conglomerate. It has ownership over cable television networks such as ESPN, A&E, History and lifetime.

3.) How is your product financed?
- The magazine cost approximately £3.00 per copy. Viewers can also subscribe to the magazine monthly. The magazine also includes advertisements so the money earned from this will go towards financing the magazine.
